Critique for Corporate Website

You present this together. Please have a seamless flow between what you talk about as you tag team the pages of the website that you covered. Please dress up. Have you template name ready to compare in the lecture and be ready to discuss the added element that you pulled in from bootstrap to embellish the template.

Have the website downloaded to the instructor computer and ready to pull up at the start of class. Ricky and Jess will the first ones on dock.

Tuesday, April 3

Two pages of your ugly web design need to be roughed out. Four will be required of the site total. You will be modifying html/css with bootstrap for this assignment or modifying a bootstap template to be customized html/css. Dive in and get familiar with the lingo and program. CSS quiz will be Monday.

Thursday, March 30

Please translate your front page design from Indesign to a Fixed Width Site with HTML and CSS. Then move that design from Fixed Width containers to Liquid Grid. Design a rough of your home page redesign of your chosen ugly site using containers on a 960 grid in InDesign. Please print off and put in job folder for Thursday. CSS quiz on Thursday.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO COMPLETE THE BOOTSTRAP CODE ACADEMY EXERCISE before class on Thursday.

Study! CSS at the back of your book. Look at gathering materials for a visual brief for your redesign website. We will be starting bootstrap on Tuesday. Make you know the difference between CSS for fluid vs. fixed width.
